For this fourth edition, the festival “Subito !!” reserved to its public a lot of shows. Many comedians, among best improvisators in the world, from USA, Great-Britain, Belgium, France will play for your pleasure.
With Randy Dixon (Seattle - USA), Mark Jane (GB), Fatima Ammari (Nantes), Patrick Spadrille (Belgique), Marko Mayerl (Strasbourg), Marie-Pierre Thomas (Belgique) and improvisers of Impro Infini (Brest).
IMPRO INFINI is a professional improvisation company based in Brest, one of the main cities in Brittany, France.
In 2009, it created the international improvisation theater festival SUBITO!, inviting every year guests from all around the world.
It develops innovating concepts in its shows, and offers tailor-made performances to collectivities and companies. Impro Infini is also an organization of professional training, which offers interactive sensitizations and trainings. The handicap sensitization "All the same, all different" received the Great Prize of Public Management and Territorial Training in 2011.
Every year since 2009, SUBITO
!! enlightens the work of different improvisators artists who participate
to the world development of improvisation theater.
Twenty dates are offered this year in 10 brittany cities.
Those instant and humorous creations don't exclude a sens quest, an artistic engagement. Some shows are pure entertainment like the Impro Catch, malicious misappropriation of the traditional "Match d'impro", while some others approach science or actuality and try to bring a shifted and (im)pertinent point of view on our world.
For this fourth edition, we have the honor of hosting
the american stage director Randy Dixon, the british
Mark Jane from the International Impro Theatre Troupe from Paris "the
improfessionals", the belgian Marie-Pierre Thomas and Patrick Spadrille.
France will be represented by Fatima Ammari, Marko Mayerl, Herwann Asseh,
and by IMPRO INFINI.
Irène Frachon, a doctor who played a decisive role in the Médiator
case (medicine scandal in France) will be the guest of "La Scientrifugeuse".
About the organizers:
IMPRO INFINI Born in 2004, the professional company Impro Infini has for objective to promote and diffuse the theatrical improvisation, writing it down in a real artistic approach. It creates shows including theater, music, fine arts, dance, and takes part at the development of improvisation, teaching it close to an enthusiast public. It gets involved in the business and the professional education sector, on different themes as handicap, discriminations or betterment in the teamwork.
